Benzema plays down United rumours

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has again cooled speculation that he may be joining his former manager Jose Mourinho at Manchester United next season.
On Sunday, the morning after Benzema lifted the Champions League trophy, he was again forced to address recent reports linking him with a move to Old Trafford.
"I am happy here and I hope to be here for many years," the 28-year-old told reporters.
"I thank the people in Madrid for being there for me and my family. Thanks to everybody because they are part of my life and we are going to be used to winning titles."
Three days later, Spanish newspaper Marca again raised the issue with the France international, this time probing him for his feelings on new Red Devils boss Mourinho.
"Mourinho was something special. It did not go well at first, then it got better, with ups and downs," Benzema said, referring to his much-publicised loss of form in his debut season for Los Blancos.
"I'm not the player I was then when I was younger. And I'm proud that say that. But no club makes me dream like Real Madrid.
"I always say I'm at the best club in the world, with the stadium, the fans, with a level of playing that is very demanding, with the best players in the world.
"Away from here, I do not know where to go, really. I do not look at leaving to go to another place. This is the top. There are other clubs that can give a lot of money to play with them, but I do not like that. I like football and here is the best."
