Carlo Ancelotti has backed Antonio Conte to turn Chelsea's fortunes around, hailing the current Italy manager's work ethic and professionalism.
Former Blues boss Ancelotti, who guided the club to a domestic double in 2010 but was sacked the following season, claims that Conte can bring the massive success he enjoyed at Juventus to Stamford Bridge.
"Conte is a hard worker: really serious, really professional and always focused on his job," the new Bayern Munich manager told FourFourTwo.
"Chelsea are getting a top manager who will look at all the little details."
The 56-year-old went on to compare the Premier League and Serie A, stating that Conte will benefit from English conditions.
"Coming to England from Italy, he will find a different world: less pressure, no violence, a great atmosphere, full stadiums – just totally different from Italy at this moment. He can definitely be a success at Chelsea," Ancelotti added.
The west London giants have enjoyed much success under Italians, something Ancelotti feels is noteworthy.
"The club has a lucky relationship with Italians. There was Gianluca Vialli, me, and then Roberto Di Matteo, who helped them to win the Champions League," he said.
