CHELSEA are set to beat former boss Jose Mourinho and Manchester United to Romelu Lukaku this summer, according to reports.

The Daily Mirror claim incoming manager Antonio Conte has made the Belgian his top transfer target.
The £65m-rated hitman is keen on a move away from Goodison Park in order to fulfil his full potential.
It would be a stunning turnaround for Lukaku who was sold to Everton from Chelsea in 2014 for £28m.
The Blues are confident of beating United who maintain their interest despite Mourinho - the man who sold the forward - replacing Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.
Paris St-Germain, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are all monitoring the 23-year-old, and can all offer Champions League football to the Toffees ace next season.
But Chelsea are determined to sign their former striker nonetheless.
The future of Diego Costa is unknown although the reports claim Conte is keen on breaking up the Portuguese-speaking contingent at the club.
Alexandre Pato is almost certain to leave Stamford Bridge after an unsuccessful loan spell with Oscar set to follow.
The Blues had a dismal campaign under Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink which saw them finish 31 points behind champions Leicester.
