Sirigu desperate to get career back on track

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu admits he is open to any opportunity that will allow him to play regular football again.
The Italian shot stopper has played second fiddle to Kevin Trapp this season and made three Ligue 1 appearances for the French champions this season.
"I do not want to go through another year like this, but I still have two years on my contract. I am not at the end of my contract, like Ibra, for example," he told L'Equipe.
"Today, I still feel like a PSG player. I will have to make a decision with my entourage. The most profitable for my future.
"Even if this experience allowed me to grow, I do not want to have another season like this one. The club knows that too, we will speak together because the decision will be made together. I am open to everything.
"The goalkeeper transfer window is not simple. I am ready to look at all serious projects, even possibly as a loan, but from teams that really want me. I have missed the Champions League this season."
In a second interview, he reveals he felt lied to after signing a new three-year contract at the end of last season under the impression he was considered the club's first-choice goalkeeper.
"For me, when somebody gives you their word, that is all that matters," Sirigu told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"After renewing my contract, they told me that they didn't need any other goalkeeper, confirming their full faith in me at the end of last season.
"When they then signed Trapp, I thought that the competition could do me good. But as soon as I got back from my holidays, I realised that they wanted me out because I was never given a fair chance and was never considered."
