Plymouth Argyle vs Portsmouth - Greens wait on Jamille Matt's availability for play-off clash

Plymouth will be waiting to see whether Jamille Matt is available for the second leg of their Sky Bet League Two play-off against Portsmouth after he was alleged to have head-butted Michael Doyle.

The Fleetwood loanee, who scored both of Argyle's goals in Thursday's first leg, escaped punishment for the off-the-ball incident but referee Oliver Langford will review footage and it could cost the striker his starting berth.

Reuben Reid will be on standby as he returned to the bench at Fratton Park following a thigh injury.

Defender Carl McHugh looks set to retain his starting berth after coming through 90 minutes of the first game following a hamstring injury.

Portsmouth boss Paul Cook will be hoping for a bigger pool of players to choose from.

He will be checking on the fitness of Conor Chaplin and Matt Clarke, who both missed out in midweek due to injury.

Ben Close returned to the bench and could push for a starting place, while on-loan striker Conor Wilkinson may also feature.

Kieron Freeman is ruled out following his red card in the final league game of the regular season alongside Adam Webster (ankle).
