Queen's Park 0 - 1 Clyde: Queen's Park secure promotion to League One after aggregate success over Clyde

Queen's Park have been promoted to Scottish League One after they clung on to beat 10-man Clyde 3-2 on aggregate despite a 1-0 defeat in the final second leg at Hampden Park.

Barry Ferguson's Clyde were attempting to overcome a two-goal deficit and took the lead in the 33rd minute when Ryan McGeever's handball allowed Scott Linton to score from the spot.

The visitors' chances of a second goal to force extra-time were dealt a blow when Michael Bolochoweckyj was shown a second yellow card for a foul on David Galt in the 74th minute.

The 10 men still had their chances and only a superb save from William Muir kept out David Gormley with 13 minutes left.

But the Spiders held on to secure their place in the third tier next season.
