Man Utd round-up: Mourinho growing impatient, Man Utd to make contact over Rodriguez

Manchester United have a tense few days ahead as they have just one game to secure a place in next season’s Champions League.

All they have to do on Sunday is beat Bournemouth at Old Trafford and hope that Swansea City can cause an upset against Manchester City, who are just two points above the Red Devils in fourth.

This will be no easy task as Louis van Gaal’s men lost to the Cherries at Dean Court earlier in the season but there has been some good news come out of the Theatre of Dreams today.

United have reported that they earned a record £123.4-million for the period between January and March, leaving them on course to become the first British sports team to earn £500m in a business year.

On that note here are the biggest stories currently doing the rounds at United ahead of the final weekend of the season.

Man Utd are the latest club to be linked with a move for Juventus striker Alvaro Morata who is expected to leave the Old Lady at the end of the season. The Spaniard is also wanted by Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea. (Express)

Jose Mourinho is said to be growing impatient in regards to the Man Utd job as the club are not going to make a decision on Van Gaal’s future until after the FA Cup final. Mourinho wants to get a deal wrapped up quickly as he also has offers from Valencia and Paris Saint-Germain. (Express)
