Colchester United vs Rochdale - Colchester set to be without Tom Eastman against Rochdale
Posted Friday, May 06, 2016 by PA
Colchester are set to be without defender Tom Eastman for their Sky Bet League One clash against Rochdale on Sunday.
Eastman sustained a foot injury in the 2-2 draw at Barnsley last weekend and was replaced after 67 minutes.
Goalkeeper Elliot Parish collided with a post at Oakwell and will face a late fitness test.
Meanwhile, long-term absentees Sammie Szmodics, Marvin Sordell and Sam Walker remain unavailable.
Rochdale assistant boss Chris Beech will be tempted to name an unchanged side after last week's eventful 2-2 draw with Swindon.
Beech will take charge of the team for the game as boss Keith Hill is travelling to America to attend to personal issues.
Matthew Lund is pushing to start the game after coming off the bench to score the equaliser at Spotland.
Michael Rose and Grant Holt are also in the running to figure after playing some part off the bench last weekend.
