Bury vs Southend United - Ryan Lowe set to skipper Bury in final outing for the club
Posted Friday, May 06, 2016 by PA
Ryan Lowe will captain Bury for his final appearance with the club against Southend.
The 37-year-old rejoined the Shakers for a second spell in 2014 but has turned down the offer of a new one-year contract in favour of a longer deal elsewhere.
Bury have designated their last match of the season 'Ryan Lowe day' in honour of the fans' favourite.
Defender Cian Bolger is ineligible to face his parent club so Reece Brown, whose contract is not being renewed, could join Lowe in making a farewell appearance.
Southend will check on David Worrall ahead of the clash with his former club.
The winger missed last weekend's 1-0 home defeat by Bradford through illness.
Franck Moussa is set to feature for the first time since returning to Southend in March after building up his fitness following a knee problem.
Midfielders Myles Weston (calf), Anthony Wordsworth (groin) and Michael Timlin (knee) miss out again.
