Huddersfield Town vs Brentford - Huddersfield missing Nahki Wells against Brentford
Posted Thursday, May 05, 2016 by PA
Huddersfield will be without leading goalscorer Nahki Wells for the visit of Brentford.
The 18-goal striker has played through the pain of a knee problem for the last six weeks and will be rested for the last match of the season, although he does not require surgery.
Harry Bunn took over from Wells as the lone striker in the 4-0 defeat at Bristol City last week and could start up front, with youngster Flo Bojaj another option for manager David Wagner.
Jonathan Hogg made his return to the squad as an unused substitute last week after a 10-match absence with a knee injury and the midfielder is expected to be on the bench again.
Jake Bidwell and Lasse Vibe could return to the Brentford squad.
Left-back Bidwell and Danish forward Vibe missed last weekend's 3-0 win over neighbours Fulham due to hamstring injuries.
But both have resumed training this week and should be in contention.
Alan Judge (broken leg), Josh McEachran (foot) and Andreas Bjelland (knee) remain sidelined.
