GAFFER: Jose Mourinho
The Sunday Express claim the ex-Blues boss has penned a deal to replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.
United have battled off interest from French giants Paris St-Germain who have also been vying for Mourinho's signature.
It's understood the Premier League giants were hoping to make an announcement at the end of the season to avoid any distractions for the players.
But the news has been leaked in his native Portugal and the club look set to come clean.
Mourinho will reportedly be given full control of transfers and looks set to splash the cash in the summer.
The Red Devils defeated Everton at Wembley this afternoon to book their place in the FA Cup final.
Anthony Martial struck late to fire United into the final after Marouane Fellaini had given United the lead ten minutes before half time.
Chris Smalling sliced into his own net to put Everton back in the game.
But Martial saved the day in the dying minutes to heap more pressure on under-fire Everton chief Roberto Martinez.
