Raith Rovers 2 - 2 Falkirk: Bob McHugh's late header earns Falkirk a draw at Championship rivals Raith
Posted Sunday, April 24, 2016 by PA
Substitute Bob McHugh headed a late equaliser as Falkirk twice came from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw at fellow Ladbrokes Championship promotion hopefuls Raith.
Striker Joel Thomas put fourth-placed Rovers ahead in the seventh minute, poking in from close range after Harry Panayiotou's ball resulted in a penalty box scramble.
Craig Sibbald equalised for second-placed Falkirk with a left-footed strike into the bottom right corner in the 56th minute but substitute Ryan Hardie found the bottom left corner from inside the 18-yard area to restore the home side's lead 14 minutes later.
The Bairns were not to be denied a share of the spoils, however, and striker McHugh, a 55th-minute replacement for Myles Hippolyte, met Scott Shepherd's ball to nod into the bottom corner with two minutes remaining.
