Amutu: Angers still want me

Nigerian striker Austin Amutu could be on the move again at the end of the season after claiming on-going interest from Ligue 1 outfit Angers.
The 23-year-old has impressed for Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona following his arrival from Warri Wolves in January, scoring a brace on debut and notching up five goals to date.
Amutu had been linked with a switch to France prior to signing for the Israeli Premier League side, after Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger recommended him to Les Scoistes.
And the former Nigeria Under-23 international has revealed the French club have continued to keep tabs on him and made contact with his agent last week.
"Angers are still interested in signing me, they are always in touch and even spoke to my agent last week on the issue," he told African Football.
Amutu first came to the attention of Wenger in 2012 when the Frenchman sent scouts to watch him action for the Wolves back in his homeland, although work-permit issues prevented him from joining the Gunners.
