Morecambe vs Stevenage Borough - Captain Shaun Beeley set to return for shell-shocked Morcambe versus Stevenage

Morecambe captain Shaun Beeley is set to return to the side following injury as the Shrimps look to bounce back from the heaviest defeat in their Football League history.

Jim Bentley's side were thrashed 7-0 at Cambridge on Tuesday and the manager will be hoping Beeley can restore some pride and defensive solidity for the home game with Stevenage.

Goalkeeper Barry Roche is available again after serving a two-match suspension following two red cards in four games, while defender Adam Dugdale could also come into contention.

Dugdale has not played since February 20 due to a foot injury but is nearing a return after playing an hour for the reserves on Wednesday.

Stevenage have an unchanged squad, although Charlie Lee could come into contention to start after appearing as a substitute in recent weeks following a groin injury.

Chris Whelpdale (groin) and Byron Harrison (ankle) have been absent of late and both are doubtful once again.

Bradley Pritchard has returned to parent club Leyton Orient following the end of his loan and Keith Keane is back at Cambridge.

Steven Schumacher and Dave McAllister (both knee) are long-term absentees.
