Blackburn Rovers vs Bristol City - Craig Conway back in Blackburn line-up

Craig Conway returns to the Blackburn fold against Bristol City at Ewood Park.

The winger has missed Rovers' past three fixtures following his dismissal against Sheffield Wednesday, which came after he had earlier scored at Hillsborough.

Teenager Connor Mahoney made his first league start for his boyhood club at Nottingham Forest in midweek and may retain his place in Paul Lambert's starting line-up.

Corry Evans made his first appearance in over a month in the midlands following a groin strain while Lambert is hopeful full-back Tommy Spurr (Achilles) can feature before the season finishes.

City boss Lee Johnson will name an unchanged squad as the Robins attempt to secure their Championship status.

A draw will be enough for City, but even if they lose at Ewood Park they will be safe if MK Dons fail to beat Brentford at home.

Johnson reported a "few aches and strains" following Tuesday night's 3-2 home defeat to Derby, but he says everyone is fit and must decide whether the likes of Scott Golbourne, Scott Wagstaff, Aaron Wilbraham and Peter Odemwingie are due a start.

Goalkeeper Frank Fielding could miss the start of next season, with an ankle operation ruling him out for between three and four months.
