Leyton Orient 1 - 3 Plymouth Argyle: Jake Jervis double helps Plymouth clinch victory at Leyton Orient

Two goals from substitute Jake Jervis and one from Peter Hartley gave promotion-chasing Plymouth a 3-1 victory at Leyton Orient.
Graham Carey proved the architect of Argyle's victory that maintained their automatic promotion hopes. The midfielder was a constant threat and delivered two precise free-kicks that fashioned a two-goal cushion for his side.
He swung over a free-kick at the end of the first half that was met by Hartley, who ghosted in unmarked at the back post to give the Pilgrims the lead.
Then in the 78th minute, Carey drilled in a set-piece from the right and Jervis dived to head the ball home.
Match referee Kevin Johnson was substituted at half-time due to an injury and the stand-in official gave Orient a lifeline after 83 minutes when Lloyd James converted a penalty after Ollie Palmer was brought down.
However, an error by Orient skipper Mathieu Baudry led to Argyle's third goal. The defender's attempted back pass fell to Jervis, who slammed the ball into an empty net.
