Stevenage Borough 0 - 0 Bristol Rovers: Bristol Rovers suffer automatic promotion setback after draw at Stevenage

Bristol Rovers lost ground in the race for League Two's automatic promotion spots as they were held to a 0-0 draw by a stubborn Stevenage.
The home side started the brighter but Fraser Franks squandered an early opening by hitting his half-volley high and wide.
Rovers created their first chance of the game after 20 minutes, Jake Gosling striking a left-footed effort from the edge of the area that shaved the outside of the upright.
Gosling then hit a free-kick just over the bar before the influential midfielder - in his first start for the Gas since Boxing Day - broke down the left on the stroke of half-time.
He pulled the ball back to the penalty spot but Daniel Leadbitter could only drag his shot wide.
It was not until the 64th minute that a keeper was truly tested as Stevenage's Jamie Jones stretched to save a Billy Bodin shot destined for the bottom corner.
Rovers resorted to hoisting long balls into the area but Stevenage held firm in the face of mounting pressure.
