Lyle Taylor netted both goals as AFC Wimbledon strengthened their play-off place with a 2-0 win at relegated Dagenham.

Jamie Cureton went close to opening the scoring in the 27th minute for Daggers but his effort was blocked on the line by Dons captain Barry Fuller.

It was the visitors, though, who took the lead when Taylor tucked home from close range in the 34th minute.

Taylor was unfortunate not to add to his collection in the 53rd minute, forcing Mark Cousins into action with a curling effort from 25 yards.

But the Dons attacker did have a brace in the 61st minute, lashing home from just inside the box after a long clearance from Paul Robinson.

Cousins was called upon to prevent the hosts from falling further behind in the 76th minute, denying substitute Ade Azeez from close range.

With the win, Dons moved four points clear in the final play-off spot with just three games left.
