Posted Tuesday, April 19, 2016 by PA
Barnsley could be short of full-backs for the visit of Peterborough as James Bree, George Smith and Aidy White are all struggling with injury.
Teenager Bree, who won the League One Apprentice of the Year award on Sunday, Smith (both hamstring) and White (abdomen) all missed Saturday's goalless draw at Burton and are unlikely to feature.
Fellow defender Callum Connolly has returned to parent club Everton and striker Marley Watkins has been ruled out for the rest of the season after breaking his jaw.
The Reds are in seventh place, two points adrift of the the play-off places with four games remaining.
Peterborough manager Graham Westley is expected to retain much of the team that on Saturday so convincingly won 4-1 at Colchester.
There could be a starting place for Shaquile Coulthirst, who scored their third goal two minutes after coming on as a substitute.
Andrew Fox also impressed as a substitute on Saturday, but is not expected to start.
Tom Nichols has been ruled out for the season because of a medial ligament tear.
