Reading vs Hull City - No new problems for Reading

Posted Tuesday, April 19, 2016 by PA

Reading manager Brian McDermott has no fresh injury worries as his side face Hull in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday night.

Paul McShane and Danny Williams will be unavailable as they sit out their second of three-match bans for violent misconduct against each other in the game with Middlesbrough.

Chris Gunter (groin) and Jordan Obita (hamstring) remain on the sidelines due to injury as the Royals look to put their three defeats in a row behind them.

Reading have not won in the league since beating Nottingham Forest at the beginning of the month.

Hull boss Steve Bruce will choose from an unchanged squad as his side bid to keep alive their outside chance of automatic promotion.

The Tigers have no new injury or suspension concerns after snatching a stoppage-time win against Wolves on Saturday, but defender Michael Dawson (calf) and forward Mo Diame (thigh) both remain sidelined.

Bruce made five changes at the weekend with Adama Diomande, Curtis Davies, Moses Odubajo, David Meyler and Sam Clucas all recalled, but Robert Snodgrass is pushing for a starting place after his last-gasp free-kick led to the winner against Wolves.

Midfielder Tom Huddlestone and defender Harry Maguire are also in contention.
