Coventry vs Bradford AFC - Jodi Jones to be assessed ahead of Bradford clash after illness

Posted Monday, April 18, 2016 by PA

Coventry winger Jodi Jones is due to return to training ahead of the visit of Bradford.

The 18-year-old was left out of the squad for Saturday's 2-1 win over Millwall with food poisoning and will be assessed ahead of Tuesday's match.

Boss Tony Mowbray told the club's official site: "He is back in the building and he'll train so we can see how he is after the weekend."

Lee Burge (shoulder) and skipper Reda Johnson (hamstring) are sidelined until next season.

Bradford striker Jamie Proctor faces a late fitness test but is expected to shake off a stiff back in time to feature.

Proctor, on loan from Fleetwood, scored his fifth goal for the Bantams in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Shrewsbury but was forced off in the 78th minute and did not train on Monday. James Hanson is on stand-by.

Boss Phil Parkinson otherwise has a full-strength squad to choose from as his side bid to maintain their promotion push.

Kyel Reid overcame an ankle problem to start at the weekend, while fellow winger Filipe Morais, fit again following a long-term knee injury, is pushing for his first start of the season.
