According to The Sun, Manchester City are looking to sign Ilkay Gundogan, with many sources suggesting a deal has already been made – worth around £30 million.
Apparently this comes after weeks of discussions between both Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund, and director of football Txiki Begiristain – along with new manager Pep Guardiola – have already allegedly had meetings with Gundogan to discuss the deal.
However, Manchester City were only looking to pay around £28 million for the midfielder whilst the German side were holding out for a deal worth £34 million.
Although, a fee may not yet have been decided, an announcement regarding the transfer is set to be made at the end of the current season.
