Bristol Rovers vs Yeovil Town - Lee Mansell is back to boost Bristol Rovers
Posted Friday, April 15, 2016 by PA
Bristol Rovers have midfielder Lee Mansell available for the first time in over a month at home to Yeovil.
Mansell has not featured for the Sky Bet League Two promotion hopefuls since pulling out of the warm-up with an ankle injury before the 4-1 win at Newport on March 19.
But the 33-year-old completed 45 minutes for Rovers' reserves against Forest Green on Tuesday and returns with the Pirates two points off the top three with five games remaining.
Striker Ellis Harrison pushed his case for a start last weekend after scoring a late equaliser as a substitute in the 2-2 draw with league leaders Northampton.
Yeovil forward Marc Laird has recovered from a hamstring injury and is available.
Darren Ward, Wes Fogden, Jordan Gibbons and Omar Sowunmi all remain long-term absentees.
Boss Darren Way can only select five of his loanees, so one of them will miss out once again.
Way said: "Marc Laird had trained so that is good news. We are all looking positive."
