Oxford United vs Luton Town - Oxford welcome back John Lundstram for Luton clash

Oxford have John Lundstram available for the Sky Bet League Two clash with Luton after the striker completed his three-match suspension.

Lundstram will only secure a place in the starting line-up if Josh Ruffels fails to completely recover from a wound on his leg, however.

Boss Michael Appleton said: "Josh is fit although we'll be cautious in case he gets a knock on it."

United's top scorer Kemar Roofe has overcome the illness that kept him on the bench for the 5-1 victory over Crawley.

Luton defender Jake Howells is set to feature for the first time since March 1 after overcoming a knee injury.

Hatters boss Nathan Jones is reluctant to risk captain Scott Cuthbert as he continues to struggle with the muscle problem sustained against Stevenage a fortnight ago.

Striker Jack Marriott was forced off against Dagenham in midweek but Jones is hopeful he will be fit to face Oxford.

Midfielder Cameron McGeehan could return to the starting line-up after being rested as 14th-placed Luton aim to close the six-point gap to the play-offs.
