Doncaster Rovers vs Wigan Athletic - Doncaster goalkeeper Remi Matthews ready to face leaders Wigan
Posted Friday, April 15, 2016 by PA
Doncaster goalkeeper Remi Matthews is fit for the visit of champions-elect Wigan.
Matthews was taken off in the first half of Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Bury after suffering from blurred vision when a shot hit him in the eye, but he has returned to training this week and will don the gloves.
Boss Darren Ferguson is hoping on-loan midfielder Riccardo Calder will be fit after a tight hamstring kept him out at Gigg Lane.
There are no other fresh injury concerns for Rovers, who are on the brink of relegation after an abysmal 16-game winless run in Sky Bet League One.
Leaders Wigan may have captain Craig Morgan back in their fold.
The centre-back was looking to return to full training before this weekend and was hopeful he would not miss a third successive fixture due to a hamstring strain.
Reece Wabara (hamstring) and Michael Jacobs (calf) both came off the bench against Coventry in the previous fixture and will be pushing for more of a role for a club unbeaten in 20 fixtures.
Sanmi Odelusi (foot) and Reece James (ankle) remain out of action.
