Preston North End vs Milton Keynes Dons - Adam Reach returns but Preston have other injury problems ahead of MK Dons clash

Preston welcome back Adam Reach for MK Dons' visit to Deepdale but boss Simon Grayson has concerns over three other players.

Winger Reach returns to the Lilywhites' fold having been unable to feature against parent club Middlesbrough last weekend.

However, Tom Clarke (head) needs to receive clearance by Friday to feature and neither Calum Woods (calf) or Jordan Hugill (ankle) trained with the group on Thursday.

Chris Humphrey (shin), Liam Grimshaw and Stevie May (both knee) are North End's long-term injury absentees.

Kyle McFadzean is available again after serving a three-match ban and a defensive reshuffle is likely to see him restored to the Dons team.

Milton Keynes manager Karl Robinson is likely to make some other changes following the demoralising defeat at home to Rotherham last weekend.

Jordan Spence is another option to come into defence while midfielders Carl Baker, Samir Carruthers and Daniel Powell and striker Nicky Maynard could come into Robinson's thinking.

Winger Rob Hall (knee) and goalkeeper David Martin (fractured hand) will not play again this season as the Dons look to shrink the nine-point gap between themselves and safety, with the two sides directly above them Rotherham and Forest set to face each other on Saturday.
