Exeter veteran Matt Oakley will be missing as promoted Northampton go in search of the Sky Bet League Two title at St James Park.

Oakley injured his back in the Good Friday home draw with Barnet, and his return in the Devon derby against Plymouth two weeks later lasted only 14 minutes.

Grecians manager Paul Tisdale has ruled the 38-year-old former Southampton midfielder out of Exeter's next two games and David Noble is set to deputise again.

Christian Ribeiro could be recalled at right-back after being rested last weekend, while veteran striker Clinton Morrison has overcome a groin problem and might make the bench.

Northampton secured promotion last weekend as the Cobblers continue their impressive form and remain unbeaten in the league for 2016.
