Sampdoria 2 - 0 Udinese: Sampdoria move above Udinese after comfortable win

Sampdoria leapfrogged Udinese in the Serie A table with a 2-0 victory at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
The hosts, who are now 13th in the table and eight points clear of the relegation zone, took the lead through Pablo Armero's own goal and doubled their advantage with five minutes remaining through substitute Fernando.
Sampdoria were given a helping hand in opening the scoring as Armero diverted a right-wing cross from Luis Muriel inside his own goalkeeper's near post 13 minutes into the second period.
Late on Fernando made sure of the points by rifling home from Antonio Cassano's pass across the edge of the penalty area.
