A Wissam Ben Yedder-inspired Toulouse gave their chances of survival a huge boost with a 4-0 win against Bastia - their third successive home league win.

The hosts had to wait until just before the hour mark to make the all-important breakthrough when Ben Yedder slid the ball beyond Jean-Louis Leca from Adrien Reggatin's first-time through ball.

And their evening improved furthermore moments later when Ben Yedder turned creator, cleverly cutting the ball back for Martin Braithwaite to lift over the goalkeeper before Oscar Trejo netted a third following a neat one-two with Ben Yedder.

Bastia's misery was compounded when Yannick Cahuzac was given his marching orders before Ben Yedder completed a successful evening, firing beyond Leca from Pantxi Sirieux's pass.
