Angers SCO 0 - 0 Ajaccio GFCO: GFC Ajaccio survive scare to take a point

Relegation-threatened GFC Ajaccio held on for a point as Angers had a goal ruled out during a 0-0 draw.
Angers thought they had taken a 20th-minute lead when Romain Thomas headed Thomas Mangani's free-kick beyond Clement Maury but the linesman's flag cut short any celebrations.
Ajaccio, currently 18th in the table, continued to create the better chances but Khalid Boutaib headed Pablo Martinez's corner over the crossbar as half-time loomed.
Despite some second-half huffing and puffing, Ajaccio were unable to secure only their second league win this year that would have moved them level on points with fourth-bottom Reims.
