Posted Sunday, April 10, 2016 by PA

Portsmouth struck four times in the second half to come from behind and beat struggling Dagenham 4-1 in Sky Bet League Two.

Daggers were under pressure early on, but took the lead against the run of play in the 34th minute when Ashley Hemmings' overhead kick from the edge of the area looped in.

The visitors had to wait until the 59th minute to level the scores when Michael Doyle powerfully met Gary Roberts' cross to score from the edge of the area.

Pompey moved ahead in the 68th minute when a Kyle Bennett free-kick was headed in by Christian Burgess.

And the win was secured in the 85th minute when substitute Gareth Evans headed in another Bennett free-kick.

Further gloss was added to the result in the 88th minute when Bennett scored after a superb mazy run.

The win leaves Portsmouth in sixth and Dagenham on the foot of the table.
