Barnsley vs Chesterfield - Wembley heroes Barnsley in good shape before Chesterfield clash

Barnsley caretaker boss Paul Heckingbottom has no new injury concerns for the home game against Chesterfield.

Heckingbottom gave his players two days off at the start of the week, following Sunday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy final win against Oxford, and he must now refocus their minds on a play-off chase.

Leading goalscorer Sam Winnall overcame a hip injury to start at Wembley and although he was withdrawn in the second half he has trained this week.

Fellow striker Marley Watkins (calf) is also back in contention and apart from winger Ryan Williams (groin), Heckingbottom has a fully-fit squad to choose from.

Dion Donohue could return to the Chesterfield squad after missing out last weekend with a hamstring problem.

However, fellow defender Liam O'Neil will miss the next few weeks with the ankle sprain that ruled him out of the comeback victory over Port Vale.

Chris Herd is fit and pushing for a recall after being on the bench against Vale, as are Jay O'Shea and Gboly Ariyibi - both of whom scored following their introduction as substitutes in that 4-2 success.

Ian Evatt (Achilles), Angel Martinez (knee) and Dan Jones are all out for the rest of the season as the Spireites, managed by former Barnsley boss Danny Wilson, battle to preserve their Sky Bet League One status.
