Birmingham vs Brighton & Hove Albion - Birmingham will assess doubtful quartet

Birmingham will assess a quartet of players ahead of Tuesday's visit of Brighton.

Jon Toral was forced off in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Charlton with a head injury while Kyle Lafferty is still having treatment for a groin problem suffered on international duty with Northern Ireland.

The Norwich loanee joined Blues last month to get game time ahead of Euro 2016 but is yet to play for Gary Rowett's side.

Jonathan Spector and Nicolai Brock-Madsen were both late withdrawals ahead of the trip to The Valley because of illness and could return.

Brighton forward Sam Baldock is doubtful due to a hamstring injury.

Baldock went off during the first half of the 2-2 draw with Burnley on Saturday and, although the problem is not thought to be serious, the quick turnaround makes him unlikely to figure.

However, right-back Bruno's second-half departure against the Clarets was put down to cramp so he should be available.

Defender Uwe Hunemeier (groin) and midfielder Solly March (knee) are still out.
