Pepe was particularly incisive in his assessment of Real Madrid's 2-1 win over Barcelona on Saturday night.
Barcelona led for the majority of the second half through Gerard Pique's header before Karim Benzema's spectacular equaliser.
Serigo Ramos was then sent off for a second bookable offence on Luis Suarez and against the run of play Cristiano Ronaldo scored to seal a 2-1 victory for Los Blancos.
"They said we would conceded four or five goals against Barcelona, but with ten players we showed sacrifice that seemed impossible when we went 1-0 down, this victory is for the fans," said Pepe.
The Portuguese defender was also keen to stress the importance of the Clasico win for the Wolfsburg game on Wednesday.
"We hope to get lucky in the Champions League and reach the final in May," he continued.
"We have fight for our supporters, but keep our feet on the ground and are humble to make the Champions League a reality."
