Morecambe 4 - 2 Barnet: Shaun Miller brace helps Morecambe to victory over Barnet

Shaun Miller scored twice as Morecambe secured a 4-2 home win over Barnet in Sky Bet League Two.

Morecambe produced the best possible start with a goal after just 54 seconds. Shaun Beeley's long clearance dissected the Barnet defence and Miller ran on to clip the ball over stranded keeper Graham Stack from the edge of the area.

The Shrimps then doubled their lead on eight minutes with a second for Miller. The striker again got behind the Barnet defence and was brought down by Stack before dusting himself down to score from the spot.

Jim Bentley's side added a third three minutes after the break when Alex Kenyon sneaked in unmarked to head past Stack from six yards.

Barnet hit back with a goal from substitute Michael Gash on 70 minutes when his low strike from the edge of the area found its way into the bottom corner.

Loan striker Cole Stockton scored Morecambe's fourth with an excellent finish before Gash added a second for Barnet in the 92nd minute.
