The Sun claim the 26-year-old Ukraine star has his sights set firmly on a move to the Premier League with Anfield being his likely destination.

Arsene Wenger was hopeful of securing a deal in the region of £25m for Yarmolenko but Liverpool look to have gazumped them to the raid.

The winger has confirmed he intends to move to the Premier League putting the Reds, the Gunners and Everton on red alert.

Yarmolenko said: "I cannot reveal many details but yes, I intend to move to England this year."

His national boss Mykhaylo Fomenko believes the midfielder would impress in the English top flight.

He said: "If he is wanted by the top English clubs then yes he can show his best in the Premier League and he must do this.
