Livingston will all-but relegate visitors Alloa into League 1 with a win in Saturday's Scottish Championship clash at Almondvale.

The Lions will be without the suspended Jackson Longridge and the injured Danny Mullen (ankle) and Gary Glen (groin).

Manager David Hopkin said: "We pulled ourselves to within two points of Dumbarton thanks to a great win at Falkirk last weekend so our target of safety is much closer now. Beating Alloa will not be easy as no-one likes to be relegated and they will be doing all they can to win and keep some pressure on.

"If we play like we did last Saturday then we have a great chance of winning."

Alloa welcome back Ryan Finnie after illness however Burton O'Brien, Ryan Hoggan and Scott Hynd are all injury doubts with manager Jack Ross looking for his men to keep control of their own destiny.

Ross said: "If we win this game then we are still in things.

"It may be a thin hope but it is a hope and more importantly it forces the teams around us to do something positive.

"I cannot fault the players for the work that they have put in since I took over. If we play like we have been playing and get a better break in front of goal then we can win."
