Fulham vs Milton Keynes Dons - Chris Baird back for Fulham clash with MK Dons
Posted Friday, April 01, 2016 by PA
Fulham are hoping Chris Baird returns from the knock that has kept him sidelined since the 2-2 draw with Reading on March 5 for Saturday's visit by MK Dons.
Baird has been unavailable since and also missed Northern Ireland's matches against Wales and Slovenia during the recent international break.
Fulham are monitoring the fitness of Fernando Amorebieta after the defender injured his ankle while warming up for the 1-1 draw with Birmingham.
Midfielder Alexander Kacaniklic has been sidelined since the draw at the Madejski Stadium and is a doubt.
Goalkeeper David Martin faces a battle to fit in time for MK Dons' trip to west London with continued hamstring trouble.
Martin suffered a recurrence of his hamstring problem and missed the game against Brighton, and remains a doubt for Saturday's match.
Joe Walsh and Jake Forster-Caskey are both back in contention after injury however, while Kyle McFadzean starts his three-match suspension.
Defender Walsh has been missing since the end of February, while Forster-Caskey has recovered from a foot injury which forced him out of three games.
