York vs Leyton Orient - Russell Penn is a doubt for York
Posted Friday, April 01, 2016 by PA
Skipper Russell Penn is a major doubt for York's Sky Bet League Two clash with Leyton Orient as he awaits news on his knee injury.
Penn was carried from the pitch on a stretcher late in City's 3-2 defeat at Plymouth on Monday and left Home Park on crutches.
Manager Jackie McNamara will again be without striker Jake Hyde, who has missed the last three games with a groin problem and is still struggling.
However, he will have defenders Lubomir Satka and Kyle Cameron, both on loan from Newcastle, back from international duty with Slovakia Under-21s and Scotland Under-19s respectively.
Orient defender Mathieu Baudry will miss the match through suspension.
Baudry was sent off against Oxford three weeks ago and is still banned while Shaun Brisley is a doubt with a dead leg.
Paul McCallum and Dean Cox are both long-term absentees with knee injuries.
The O's are eighth in the table, two points adrift of the play-offs, but have won only two of their last six matches.
