Bradford vs Scunthorpe - Lee Evans hoping to stand up for the Bantams

Bradford pair Lee Evans and Josh Cullen will both be back in contention for the home game against Scunthorpe.

Wolves loanee Evans (Wales Under-21s) and West Ham midfielder Cullen (Republic of Ireland Under-21s) both missed the Easter weekend fixtures as they were on international duty.

Paul Anderson (broken leg) and Filipe Morais (knee) both returned to the bench as unused substitutes last weekend and are in contention following long-term injuries.

Boss Phil Parkinson must decide whether to recall Reece Burke to the heart of defence after resting the West Ham loanee for Monday's win at Crewe or stick with Christopher Routis, while Rory McArdle (shoulder) is still out.

Scunthorpe boss Graham Alexander will leave it late to name his team ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet League One trip to the Coral Windows Stadium.

Skipper Stephen Dawson missed Monday's 6-0 rout of Swindon with a long-standing knee problem, although Alexander is hopeful it will have settled down again by the weekend.

Midfielder Jim O'Brien also sat out that game with a groin injury, and the club is awaiting the results of a scan he had during the week with the manager keeping his fingers crossed.

The Swindon game was Alexander's first at Glanford Park since taking charge, and the Iron head for West Yorkshire sitting eight points shy of the play-off places after an eight-match unbeaten run.
