Blackburn vs Preston - Grant Hanley banned for Preston clash

Posted Thursday, March 31, 2016 by PA

Blackburn captain Grant Hanley serves a one-match suspension for the visit of Preston after his dismissal against Brentford before the international break.

Midfielder Corry Evans has started running again after a groin operation and is expected to return to full training next week.

Jason Lowe has come through two Under-21 games unscathed but will not be available for Saturday.

Danny Guthrie (hamstring) and Lee Williamson (calf) are also still short of enough fitness for consideration.

Preston manager Simon Grayson is set to be faced with a selection dilemma for the first time in over a month.

Alan Browne (hip) and Paul Huntington (calf) are both fit while Joe Garner returns from suspension.

Striker Jermain Beckford played another 60 minutes in a match against Oldham in midweek and could be included in the squad.

Stevie May, Liam Grimshaw (both knee) and Chris Humphrey (shin) are sidelined.
