Liverpool fans react furiously after Luis Suarez's transfer agreement with Barcelona leaks

Football Leaks released Luis Suarez's transfer agreement with Barcelona early on Monday, much to the intrigue of football fans.

It was on one of the biggest transfer sagas of 2014 - Liverpool were selling a player who nearly inspired them to their first Premier League title but was banned from playing football for four months after biting an opposing player.

The reported fee was £75 million but, according to Football Leaks, Barcelona actually paid £64.98m for the Uruguayan. Given that Suarez is on the verge of helping Barca to back-to-back trebles, Liverpool fans are understandably furious.

He has scored 43 goals this season and forms one-third of the greatest attacking line-up in world football.

If Barca knew Suarez would be so good, they probably would have coughed up close to £100m. And Liverpool fans know it.

Considering Manchester City paid £49m for Raheem Sterling, Manchester United paid £59.7m for Angel di Maria and Real Madrid paid £63m for James Rodriguez, Barcelona's signing of Suarez can be filed in the cabinet labelled 'bargain'.

Barcelona won just the Copa del Rey in the season prior to his arrival, but in his first campaign in Spain they won the La Liga, Champions League and Copa del Rey.

They are favourites to repeat the feat in 2015-16, holding a nine-point lead in La Liga and booking their place in the Champions League quarter-finals and Copa del Rey final.

Suarez's arrival has seen Lionel Messi ignore his false-9 position and instead line up to the right of the 29-year-old, a tactical change by Luis Enrique that has yielded 107 goals this season between the two magicians and Neymar.

And while all this goes on, Liverpool have to do with Christian Benteke's fallout with Jurgen Klopp and Danny Ings' lengthy spell on the sidelines. Suarez was simply irreplaceable.
