Plymouth surged back into League Two's top three with a 3-2 victory over relegation-haunted York at Home Park.
Argyle got off to a perfect start when on-loan Fleetwood target man Jamille Matt scored his second goal in two games.
Matt smashed home from close range on 21 minutes after striker Reuben Reid's knock down from full-back Gary Sawyer's cross from the left.
Matt won a 31st-minute penalty, converted by Reid, and the Greens forged further ahead in the 42nd minute after Will Boyle powered his header from Graham Carey's corner into his own goal.
City keeper Scott Flinders made a sensational double stop to deny Matt and Reid from point-blank range before Plymouth hit the goal trail.
York were given a glimmer of hope when City skipper Russell Penn slammed in from 20 yards in the 52nd minute and former Plymouth midfielder Luke Summerfield scored an 86th-minute penalty, conceded by Jordon Forster, fouling Boyle.
Matt came close to making it 4-2 in the 89th minute when his diving header smashed off the bar following Jake Jervis' corner.
