Crawley vs Exeter - Callum Preston to continue in goal for Crawley
Posted Sunday, March 27, 2016 by PA
Crawley manager Mark Yates has said that Callum Preston will be given his chance in goal as Town prepare to host Exeter.
Preston got the gloves at York on Friday after Portsmouth recalled Paul Jones from his loan spell. He will now be given a run in the team despite the arrival on Sunday of Jack Rose on loan from West Brom.
Joe McNerney returned to the bench after injury at Bootham Crescent but Lee Barnard (calf) and Roarie Deacon (groin) both remain out.
The likes of Lewis Young, Shamir Fenelon, Bobson Bawling and Gavin Tomlin are options should Yates wish to make any changes.
It remains to be seen whether Exeter boss Paul Tisdale will name the same side for the fifth game in a row but fresh injury or suspension problems will not affect his decision.
There was one addition to the bench on Friday against Barnet as Alex Nicholls was deemed fit enough for a place amongst the seven substitutes having been ruled out for the past three weeks with a facial injury sustained during the home draw with Portsmouth.
A lack of match sharpness may stunt Nicholls' hopes of an immediate return to the starting line-up.
Jamie McAllister, Clinton Morrison, Jordan Tillson and Joel Grant are also options for Tisdale if he wants to change anything.
