Bury vs Gillingham - Bury forced into changes for Gills clash

Posted Sunday, March 27, 2016 by PA

Bury have more injury concerns for Gillingham's visit to Gigg Lane in Sky Bet League One.

Andrew Tutte was withdrawn at half-time of the 1-1 draw with Blackpool having felt tightness in his hamstring while Craig Jones was also removed having taken a blow to the head.

Striker Danny Rose only lasted 61 minutes on his first start since January due to fatigue so Ryan Lowe may be drafted in up top.

Ian Lawlor is away on international duty while Rob Lainton and Leon Clarke are missing with groin and thigh injuries.

Gillingham defender Ryan Jackson could be back in contention following his return from a knee problem.

Jackson came off the bench for the final 10 minutes of the Gills' 1-1 draw at Southend last time out on March 19 and may be in line for a recall to the starting XI at Gigg Lane.

Defender Adam El-Abd has been hampered by a hamstring strain, having missed the Southend match, so he will be assessed. Andrew Crofts is expected to stay in midfield having rejoined his former club on loan from Brighton until the end of the season.

Bradley Dack (hamstring), John Egan (knee), Doug Loft (Achilles) and Cody McDonald (foot) all continue their rehabilitation.
