Arsenal target Xhaka

Arsenal are reportedly considering an off-season move for VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed a steady rise to fame since joining the Bundesliga side from Basel four years ago, and is contracted to Mönchengladbach until 2019.
However, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is believed to be a keen admirer of Xhaka, and is reported to be preparing a €43m bid for the midfielder's services.
Arsenal have endured some struggles in midfield this term, with Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky in the twilight of their careers, while numerous injuries have derailed the team in the middle of the park.
