St Mirren are missing Kyle McAllister as they entertain Raith in Tuesday's Ladbrokes Championship action.

The midfielder is away on international duty with Scotland Under-17s and is manager Alex Rae's only absentee as the Paisley side chase a third successive win.

Rae said: "Nothing has been decided so we will need the same level of effort and desire against a Raith team who are flying just now.

"I will continue to look at the teams below us and work on plans to get us closer to the ones above us."

Raith must do without on-loan Rangers striker Ryan Hardie, who hit a hat-trick the last times the teams met, as he is away with Scotland Under-19s.

The injured David Bates (calf), Scott Robertson (groin) and Lewis Vaughan (knee) are also sidelined as Rovers look to extend their advantage over fifth-placed Morton to 10 points in the battle for the third play-off spot.

Manager Ray McKinnon: "We had a terrific win over Hibs at the weekend and are in fourth place however it is hard work that got us there.

"If we stop working hard we may not stay there so we have to continue with that approach."
