Nice 3 - 0 Ajaccio GFCO: Nice secure third straight win to move back into top three

Nice reclaimed third spot in Ligue 1 thanks to a third successive league victory with a straightforward 3-0 win against out-of-sorts GFC Ajaccio.

The hosts got off to a perfect start when, with 14 minutes on the clock, Hatem Ben Arfa collected the ball wide on the left, cut into the area and capped off a superb solo goal with a confident curling finish beyond Clement Maury.

Ben Arfa turned supplier in the 66th minute when Alassane Plea escaped the Ajaccio defence from his pass before rounding Maury and rolling the ball into an empty net.

A successful day's work was complete for Claude Puel's team as added time approached when Jean Seri met Valere Germain's cutback to leave Maury beaten for a third time.
