Frosinone 0 - 0 Fiorentina: Fiorentina held by struggling Frosinone

Fiorentina were held to a goalless draw by relegation battlers Frosinone but the point was enough to lift them back into fourth place above Inter Milan.
Frosinone goalkeeper Nicola Leali produced a string of fine saves to deny Viola, who twice hit the woodwork through Nikola Kalinic and Borja Valero, while home midfielder Oliver Kragl fired a free-kick against the crossbar.
Fiorentina went close to opening the scoring in the 12th minute when midfielder Matias Vecino fired wide and Leali saved low in the corner shortly afterwards to keep out Josip Ilicic's effort.
Canarini did not threaten until visiting goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu was forced into two smart saves midway through the first half to keep out efforts from Mirko Gori and Kragl.
Kragl was wayward with two left-footed efforts in the 32nd minute and the home side were nearly made to pay twice in first-half stoppage-time as Fiorentina striker Kalinic crashed a shot against a post before Valero's angled effort hit the crossbar.
Tatarusanu denied Gori early in the second half and 10 minutes later Leali saved at full stretch to turn away Kalinic's goal-bound header.
Leali kept out Federico Bernardeschi's long-range effort just after the hour mark and thwarted the visitors again 10 minutes later, turning away Cristian Tello's low drive in the bottom corner.
But Frosinone still carried a threat of their own and substitute Aleksandar Tonev forced a fine save from Tatarusanu in the 76th minute with a rising shot from outside the box and five minutes later Kragl's free-kick came back off the crossbar.
Both sides went close to grabbing a winner in the closing stages. Tonev's shot flashed just wide and at the other end Kalinic headed just off target.
