Carlisle 1 - 1 Wycombe Wanderers: Chairboys slip out of play-off places with draw

Ten-man Wycombe slipped out of the play-off places as they held on for a point in a 1-1 draw at Carlisle.
Sam Wood put the Chairboys in front in the 12th minute with a free header from Joe Jacobson's pinpoint cross.
Carlisle levelled after 26 minutes when good link-up play on the right between Luke Joyce, Tom Miller and Alex Gilliead allowed Hallam Hope to get a cross in and Charlie Wyke had a simple finish.
Wycombe were awarded a penalty shortly afterwards when Mark Gillespie brought down Garry Thompson, but the goalkeeper redeemed himself with a save to deny Jacobson.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men when Marcus Bean was sent off for a strong challenge on Mark Ellis, but they clung on for a point as Wyke headed over the crossbar late on.
